Take your pick from the Albany Megacentre, Milford Shops, Glenfield Mall and Wairau Park – all within a 10 minute drive. Smaller convenience shops are also located nearby.

For residents unable to drive, the village bus operates shopping excursions to the main shopping centres three times a week so you can enjoy a spot of shopping or do the grocery top-up at one of the supermarkets.

Clubs & Recreational Facilities

Highgrove is surrounded by numerous clubs and recreational facilities – golf, bowling, tennis, service clubs, Probus – you name it, it’s out there! The Birkenhead, East Coast Bays, and Takapuna RSAs are also within a 10 minute drive.

Parks and Reserves

The surrounding suburbs contain some of the region’s best kept secrets. Visit Wainoni Park in Greenhithe (the North Shore’s Cornwall Park), with its easy access boardwalks criss-crossing wide open fields. The recently completed playground is also haven for children of all ages.
The beaches of the East Coast Bays and all the attractions they offer are a short drive from Highgrove.

If good food and fine wine is more to your taste, nearby you’ll find Kumeu and its vineyards and artisan inspired cafes, as well as the fresh produce outlets of Hobsonville.
